Ebola cases in DR Congo rise to 837

Kinshasa [DRC], June 17: The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo announced on Tuesday that the number of Ebola infections has risen to 837 cases, including 196 deaths.
The World Health Organization had announced on 17th May that the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda constituted a public health emergency, warning of the risk of the disease spreading to other countries and stressing that the regional risk level remains high.
