Myanmar reports 257 new COVID-19 cases

Yangon [Myanmar], October 22: Myanmar confirmed 257 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the tally to 630,183, according to the country's Ministry of Health on Friday.
The ministry said in a statement that the death toll from COVID-19 in the country reached 19,473 on Friday after one new death was reported.
The total number of patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in the country reached 603,764, including 230 new recoveries on Friday.
The Southeast Asian country detected its first COVID-19 cases in March 2020.
